Our family have spent the morning talking about their memories of the Christian Lewis Trust. It is amazing that for such a traumatic and difficult time, the children have such positive memories. It is a credit to you and all your staff and a superb example of what a fantastic job you do and the reasons why you do it.

We have had a lot of input from you over the years, at the start of this journey and at different points along the way. We know for us as a family, support is needed at many different stages and sometimes even when you think everything is ‘normal’ and that we are all ‘coping’ well. Something happens and you step in to help support our foundations once again.

Our daughter is now a happy, sensitive but feisty young woman. She fights us all the way but we know this is right and just how it should be. Her sisters are grown and the eldest is a well balanced girl at university (well balanced apart from how she shops!) The youngest, whose memories are very vague, wants to be involved in it all and confidently uses the word Cancer. There is more understanding, her sister is a survivor and Cancer is a part of our lives, we have just hopefully put it in the backseat of a 1000 seater coach for the rest of our journey.

Thank you for providing us with stability, warmth and care over the years and I know you will in the years to come.
