Christian Lewis Trust Children's Cancer Charity

The Trust will be marking its 20th anniversary with a number of events.

In March, students at the Dynevor Centre of Art, Design and Media of Swansea Metropolitan University will be submitting entries in a sponsored design competition for a new Trust logo.

This will be unveiled in May when the Trust will be holding an Open Day at its Walter Road, Swansea office. Families and staff will be on hand to provide an insight into a typical day at the Christian Lewis Trust and all the laughter and tears that are involved.

Among the thousands of photos of smiling children which cover the walls, visitors will be able to see where the late Sir Harry Secombe left his mark when he visited. One or two surprises are also planned and there might even be a few celebrities turning up to lend a hand on the day.

In addition, plans are in progress for a civic reception, hosted by the Lord Mayor of Swansea, which will be held in recognition of the work and support given by volunteers, patrons and trustees in the last 20 years.
